The money is made when the person buys the backend product, such as a seminar seat, coaching program, or something similar [Don't worry - I will show you how to make money with backend sales, even if you don't have a backend yourself! ].

For example, in one of my businesses [in the real estate niche], I make 25 times MORE when the user buys the backend . Let me illustrate with a quick example:

User buys my front-end product I make $20
User buys my back-end product [offered as an upsell] I make $500

Even if the backend is not my product and I am an affiliate marketer, I still would get to keep 50% of the $500 sale. Even with a 50% commission, I still would make $250, over 12 times as much as the original $20 sale. BUT...if I didn't have that backend product to offer, I would only make $20 per sale.

You see, I started out with a boutique e-business consulting firm, Global Objects, which I ended up selling to a major e-business consulting firm. Global Objects was listed as one of the top 500 fastest growing private technology firms in Deloitte and Touche's Fast500. In those businesses, we would get $100,000 minimum just to talk with the companies about what they wanted or do a prototype. Then the company who bought my firm, wouldn't do a prototype project for less than $500,000. At that firm, I was responsible for 4 offices and $15 million in revenue, and my largest single sale was $4 million.

This is Corporate America. The dollars are huge and people get them.

So when I think of markets I think about how can I get that $100,000 sale, and not surprisingly I get it. I am here to tell you that you can, too. In fact, the biggest problem I run into is people don't believe it is possible. When they change that belief they generate cheques like the ones near the top of the page.

My background is in high end software. I was developing ecommerce applications in 1994.
